I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been performing inspections for buyers and sellers
since 2003. I am licensed in St. Paul and Minneapolis to perform Truth in Sale of Housing Inspections. I
also perform inspections for the West St. Paul rental license program.
My background is in construction; and as
a carpenter, I understand the various components of houses and their construction. I am also a licensed Minnesota building
contractor. My experience in remodeling numerous homes in the metro area directly contributes to my understanding problems
in houses and my ability to communicate them to my clients.
I have always lived in houses that were built
before 1920, and I have remodeled many older homes in the metro area. I am very familiar with the traditional building
techniques that are typical in the Twin Cities housing stock.
I have supplemented my on-the-job experience
with classes at Inver Hills Community College, Pro Source Educational Services and Kaplan professional school.
I have taken many classes dealing with mechanical systems, structure and report writing. I have also passed the National Home
Inspector Examination. I take many continuing education classes yearly, and I am a member of MSHI the Minnesota
Society of Housing inspectors.
Home buyers and sellers will find my reports to be organized and easy to understand.
Clients requiring Truth in Sale of Housing Inspections will appreciate my promptness and professionalism.
